Robert Delaunay

Master of "pure painting", orphist then abstract, Robert Delaunay (1885–1941) believed in the revolution of modern art through color. Investing in themes linked to contemporary life, movement, and rhythm, he creates a simple pictorial language based on the shape of the circle and cosmic figures. His work, more confidential than that of a Picasso, is nevertheless monumental!
